Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership award six coalitions a total of $150,000

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KATV) — During a press conference at the Association of Arkansas Counties in Little Rock, the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP) awarded six Arkansas Coalition Partnership Empowerment (COPE) initiative awardees a total of $150,000.
Each coalition received $25,000 to take park in a personalized training with CADCA that will help strengthen, develop, and prepare them for the federal Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program application in 2026.
Selected coalitions for the DFC grant will receive $125,000 every year.
“With this funding, these coalitions are given the proper tools to succeed in building a Drug-Free Community,” said Tenesha Barnes, deputy director for the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership. “We are proud to get to play a part in their journey, and we look forward to seeing all the ways in which the CADCA program supports them in the coming months.”
The coalitions that received these awards include:
